Tow-in rocked the crowds today with an impressive show right by the beach. The EFPT tried hard to continue on with the double elimination early in the day, however it was not to be as the competition area was deemed just that bit too light for fair competition to take place.
Action, action, action as the conditions continue to provide. The double elimination continued on until the winds faded, giving way to an impressive night tow-in show. Watch our highlight reel as the rockstars of European windsurfing enjoyed a day, and night, in the limelight.

It’s straight into action on the opening day of the 2017 EFPT Lanzarote event. Steven Van Broeckhoven, the most celebrated European Champion of all time, showed exactly why he is the guy to beat as he secured the single elimination victory with almost faultless style.
The winds filled in with maximum effect, heats had to be cancelled because the conditions were too intense but nevertheless the riders stepped up their game with mind blowing consequences. World’s first moves were witnessed both in and out of competition. This was a day for the history books.
